Gorgeous...it's a piece of art! It looks very similar to the chain-stitch traditional embroidery of Kashmir( in India)called 'namda' which is done with wool!! Its amazing how the tradition of two far apart places with no apparent connection can be so similar!! thanks for sharing, Viera!! xx meenal

I'm a long-time needleworker, and I really appreciate the talent that went into such a beautiful piece. The slavs have such a distinctive style...just lovely! I'm so glad some of the beautiful crewels are coming back too.
